Cancelation and Name Changes

God forbid! But sometimes, the “p” in the ship is not exactly what happens. Here’s how you can cancel or give your spot to someone else.

If you were going to travel alone (if you booked a single cabin, or if you signed up for the match program) you’ll be able to cancel.

If you booked a spot in a double, triple or quadruple cabin, you’ll have a second option: you can contact another person who’d like to take your place and get a “name change”

Name Changes are not permitted for Match Program or Single Reservations. Cancellation penalties will apply.

Cancelling

If you eventually need to cancel, bear in mind that the deposit is non-refundable. Here’s the detail of what you’ll be charged if you need to cancel:

However, if you have taken insurance and you need to cancel for a covered condition, you can make a claim with the insurance carrier to recover any lost payments.

Name Changes

A name change is basically when you give someone your spot; it has a charge of $100 and you’ll have to work out the money you already paid with the person who’ll be taking your place.

Remember you cannot “change name” if you were going to travel alone (if you booked a single cabin, or if you signed up for the match program)

Here’s a detail:

Name changes are permitted for $100 per person

At least one guest from the original reservation must remain in the room. Changing all names in a room are not permitted and considered a cancellation. 

The person taking your place needs to register at www.reservations.rosetours.com and add their credit card information. 

You must work out the money already paid among yourselves. The person taking your place pays the remaining balance to Rose Tours.

When you are ready to complete the name change, email one of the staff at Rose Tours the name of the person taking your place and who is paying the $100 name change fee.

Also have your roommates email one of the staff at Rose Tours that they approve the name change. No name change will take place till everyone on the reservation agrees in writing to the change. Once all the emails have been received, the name change will be completed. The $100 fee will be charged and confirmation will be emailed to all roommates.

Name changes can be completed up to 2 weeks prior to the event. No name changes will be made after the deadline.
